Systems Engineering
Our Systems team are experienced product developers that specialize in defining a product vision and taking a device on a journey to realize that vision. Our involvement begins at the early stages of product definition and architecture refinement, and continues throughout the development, monitoring risks, performing testing and managing verification activities. When it is time to submit an application for regulatory clearance, if required, our team delivers the formal documentation necessary to provide evidence of product performance.
Mechanical Engineering
The Mechanical design team draws on decades of expertise in medtech and other industries to guide the realization of complex and novel products, leveraging world-class tools, proven innovation methods proven and Meiban’s proprietary manufacturing processes to deliver commercial success. Meiban utilizes a phased development process that delivers outputs including initial concepts and architectures, prototypes of varying complexity for testing and verification, all the way to the creation of complete mechanical development data packs to support volume production.
Electronics Engineering
Our Electronics engineering team is highly capable in the design of complex electronics for medical and non-medical devices including, system architecture, schematic & detailed PCB layout using Altium designer, loom design, prototyping, assembly and transfer to manufacture. Software Engineering
We create tailored software solutions for regulated medical environments, along with non-regulated environments, leveraging extensive experience in product development and market success. Optics
Meiban offers targeted optics support for your product, with a dedicated team of optics and opto-mechanical specialists. We have demonstrated capability in developing and manufacturing integrated optical systems for medical instruments including a wide range of image acquisition and processing methods to meet the specific analytical needs of your optical system. We are experienced in developing a wide range of medical devices incorporating digital imaging, microscopy, and radiometry using both off-the-shelf and custom designed opto-mechanical assemblies. We also utilize COMSOL Multiphysics simulations and bespoke optical modelling to optimize the design of your product.
