Our Story
Meiban was founded by Mr. George Goh Tiong Yong in 1986 as a Singaporean plastic molding house. As Mr. Goh grew the business, he instilled in all his staff an unwavering commitment towards their clients and their journeys. This would go on to be known as the Spirit of Meiban.
As Meiban grew, we listened and responded to our customers’ needs, adding services and building capability to extend the value we provided. On our journey we have been recognized with many accolades, including being named by Forbes Magazine as one of the ‘Best Under a Billion’ companies.
However, it is the recognition from our clients as a valued partner to their business that truly motivates us and inspires us. We continued to extend our capability globally and built long-lasting partnerships with our customers that include many of the world’s leading brands.
Today, Meiban is a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) employing over ~2,000 staff with world-leading specialization in a range of areas including medtech expertise and our scientifically validated injection molding capability.
However, we are most proud of our true commitment to our clients and the enduring nature of the relationships we build with them that continues to define the spirit of Meiban.
